What is howt.io?

howt.io was born out of the need to create easy-to-understand documents that could be shared with others. Originally, in our web agency, we were using a macOS app that was the inspiration for howt.io, called Clarify, which unfortunately was discontinued, but was based on the same concepts we are applying on howt.io to easily and quickly create descriptive documents - like tutorials, onboardings, or client training material.

That is:

• An easy-to-use editor where you can quickly put together documents without moving parts around for styling. You still have a lot of freedom and can arrange documents to achieve expected outcomes.
• Templates that you can create and export every document with. You create it once and it serves you for every other document you want to create.
• You can export or share your documents in different output formats. Your documents will have the same templates style applied across all file formats you export to - beside some file formats limitations.
