Export formats

When you share your document with the world, you need to decide in which format your audience might consume the documents most likely. To assist you with that, howt.io supports different output/export formats.

The following export formats are currently supported:

Generates a PDF file with your selected template applied. It will have multiple pages based on your content and PDF settings.
Generates a HTML document with inlined images, so you will receive a single *.html file that you can store and send around.
JPG Generates the document in an HTML fashion and create a large image out of it.
PNG Similar to JPG
Markdown Generates a zip file with a markdown file and your images in it. Will have, by its nature, no styles applied. We try to conserve your text formatting as good as possible, and all your used images will be referenced inside the markdown document.
